Apparently since I drive an SUV, it means I've surrendered my right to be environmentally conscious. I can be as environmentally desctructive as I so choose. Why? Because I'm polluting the earth so much, that no matter how much I reuse and recycle, it still won't counter the devestating effects of my Global Warming inducing machine. And those folks who drive more ozone friendly vehicles, well they can do whatever the heck they want.
Example:
"Whoa, give me that." I give my friend look of disgust. "What are you doing? That's plastic. You're supposed to recycle that."
"Oh right, says the girl with the SUV," he counters.
Does that even make sense as a comeback?
Really people?
Knock it off. And for the love of God recycle. Your hybrid isn't going to plant more trees and clean out landfills.
